Use 10 minutes to carryout quick research on both file types, discuss your finds with the team.

Group Sorting.

1. Read all the Instructions carefully before you begin.
2. Get into groups of two (2) or three (3)
3. Download the data from the link below, as a CSV file.

Sorting Exercise

4. Upload the downloaded file to a platform were you can work concurrently.
5. Sort the document as detailed below.
• Highlight all rows with carrier names in a single colour.
• Arrange each Patient I.D according to D.O.S from earliest to latest.
• Only show columns containing the following information.
1. Patient ID
2. Recipient ID
3. Service Date (Thru)
4. Procedure Code
5. Claim Balance
6. Make Column R 'Reasons' this is where explanations will be inputed.
• DO NOT show the following Carriers in the final presentation
1. BR Daily Medicaid Methadone
2. BR Medicaid Outpatient
3. NH Daily Medicaid Methadone
4. NH-Mental Health Medicaid OP
6. DO NOT delete any information from the spreadsheet

Note-: On completion of the exercise, you will be required to make a 5-10 minute presentation explaining your rationale, to the group.
